why does buy a new smartphone more difficult than buying a new car?

my phone died today. just charged it and it shut off like that. luckily, i have a sd card which i saved some things on there.

i went back and forth between best buy and my phone carrier and my head hurts. :mindblown: like all this bullshyt for a fukkING SMARTPHONE. i just got frustrated and went home to recuperate. they really make the process of buying a new phone WORSE than buying a new car. damn.... about to just say fukk it and buy this shyt online instead but wanted to check with the coli if there was anything to be careful about before buying phones online.

real talk, i'm not even tripping about being phoneless momentarily. actually feel relieved. don't have to check the phone and etc BUT the annoying thing is that everybody sadly talks through the phone now so i NEED to buy one. don't have a choice. whoever is trying to text me or call me is going to have to deal with the voice message or not hearing from me until monday.

Nah, buying a smartphone is much easier than a car. I'm still clueless about interest rates, msrp, APR and all that in regards to buying a new car where's I owned multiple smart phones and only spent like 15 minutes at most in the store.


Not to mention possibly getting finessed by buying an crappy used car, etc.


I've switched carrier's, owned multiple smartphones including one time where the phone outright died and found the process to be rather easy :manny:

so google pixel is just as good as the samsung? i'm thinking about getting the pixel but might stick with the samsung since i already got that. not really impressed at these smartphones. think they're annoying.

it's irritating me because i'm not all that into this smartphone shyt. don't really care about it to be honest but not trying to get the wrong phone either. these phones coming with built in scanners and all sorts of features that other people expect you have to have that shyt on your phone. i remember when i KNEW i had to upgrade to a smartphone at the end of 2014 because my job at the time required zoom or whatever meeting app at the phone.

yes if you want an android its a wash between those two, the pixel 6 has the best camera
