Yea it was cool initially with Kush and OJ but now its getting wack. LIke he's running out of shyt to talk about. This is why gimmick and niche rappers never last. Because they run out of material. He's one of the reasons more people smoke weed though.

He's not proving, he's talking about his life and his passions in life.
He smokes more than most people, he likes weed more than most people and so he talks about weed in his songs.

But I think a lot of people are exaggerating, he probably talks about champagne and ballin more than he talks about weed. But anyways, he talks about what he does, how he lives and what he observes. In a way he's like Jay-z content wise BUT he doesn't observe and do as much or as interesting things as Jay-z. Can't knock him for that.

A lot more people are smoking today and weed is a bigger thing, as far as hiphop goes Wiz together with Wayne and Spitta started the whole thing with non-gangsta rappers having weed all up in your videos and shyt. I know from College that mad people started this whole paper plane thing, weed and wine and all that after Wiz..
