Why does everyone hate on GameStop?

Only use GS when I am desperate to trade/sell especially when I don't have any money on me. Plus GS is closer to me than Best Buy. The reason why people keep going to GS because its the only large dedicated game store around. At least where I live.

IMO Gamestop needs competition and I mean a dedicated gaming store similar ti GS, but better...

Oh and one more thing... The MAIN reason I only use gamestop is that I can buy their used games. Play it and beat it before 30 days and return and get my money back or exchange it for a different game.

Go to the store, in the video game section they have gamers club cards. Grab one and take it to the cashier. Once you pay for it they link it to an email and from that point for 2 years you get 20% off every video game purchase and a bunch of other bonus deals.

Gamestop ain't that bad. There used game policy where you can get a free game if you beat it in 7 days was clutch. People talk about the price they give you for trade in but it's a business so what you expect, it's not that egregious in all honesty. The worst part to me is the up selling employees that annoy you with asking if you have a power rewards card or if you would like to sign up for one, asking if you want to preorder random game that has nothing to do with your video game tastes.

But I get most of my gaming done by based Gamefly

Not as aggressive as GameStop. Some stores will ask you if you want a card.. I hit them with no..they move on. GameStop they go into a long sells pitch after you already say no once then you have to turn them down on game preorders too then the warranty on the game disc. Then they always have one cashier and a long ass line. I'll pass.

I went to game stop to get a game. Cant remember what game it was. But i get to the register and the cashier tells me its Rated R and he needs to see ID. I left my License by my computer cause i was doing something. I gave him my college ID. He said he needs to see government issued identification . at this point im like what the fukk tho. We go back and forth about how i look like a grown ass man and i have my college id. He aint budging.

So this dude in the back who i dont know said "I got you son". He grabs the game and gives the cashier his ID. The cashier said he cant sell him the game because he is bbuying it for me. this nikka on some fukk shyt right now.

I gave the customer who tried to buy it a hand shake, thanked him and bounced. The customer surprisingly left too.

I went to best buy and bought the game no problem....

lol the way i bought MGS:GZ was the best. Went to Gamestop to buy that shyt new, $40. Dude in there happened to be trading in it at the desk. Clerk's like "we'll give you $15 "

I'm like "dawg I'll buy that shyt off you for $25." Snatched that shyt real quick. We stepped out the store, did our deal and both went on our merry way. That's how CM do business Gamestop.
