I'm assuming it's like any addiction, where your brain wants its fix. For example, I quit drinking over a year ago, and I still have dreams about drinking beers on a weekly basis. When I quit smoking cigs, I would also have dreams about smoking. I asked a therapist about this, and apparently it is a normal thing that happens in your brain when you give up an addiction. Your brain wants it's fix, be it alcohol, cigarettes or porn

That doesn't go away if you live without seeking a relationship with God. I completely understand how someone can think it's nonsense or whatever. You really need to pray. God will give you strength.
