Aside from that little taco bell ad sony has barely done any real marketing. I haven’t seen billboards, collabs, ads aside from that one commercial or anything.

the TV commercials have been playing a lot.
PS5 sponsored CFB games on the tickers the last couple of weeks.

Their Youtube and social media posts and hits destroy XSS and XSX.

they don't want to create more intense demand when the system isn't even out yet
the hardcore people already got theirs
then you'll see a Travis Scott commercial with Nike sneakers launch, miles morales commercials, another burger king contest probably and other stuff

"Hey! Go out and buy a PS5! Its good!" vs. "Oh u want a PS5? Nah you cant have this, its exclusively reserved for initial buyers who pre purchased. Matter fact, we dont even talk about PS5."
