Why I even have to explain this is beyond me
The quarterback position is the one position in sports that White America covets most
For years, they said that black men can't be Quarterbacks because we lack the intellectual capacity, integrity, discipline and leadership skills to excel at that position. They never doubted our ability to be nameless/faceless linebackers, safeties, cornerbacks or running backs. It has always been the quarterback position, the position that gets the most media attention and that people look up to and admire more than any other, that white people have had an issue with us being.
It dates all the way back to the old stigma that Quarterback is the "All American" good ole boy position in sports. It goes back to the 1980s when Warren Moon had to go to the CFL because no NFL team would give him a chance
This is why when it comes to black excellence, the QB spot always takes precedence over all other positions. Yes, I'm happy for the black players on Denver just like I was happy for the black players on New England last year but white Americans don't care about them, it's all about the QB position which is why Twitter was filled with racial slurs this SB and last years despite the fact that it was black men on defense who won the game for their respective teams. All these CACs care about is that a black man at the most coveted position in sports lost to a white QB
