Why does someone always say "white people do it too", when we talk about the black community?

Another one I hate is the CASUAL use of "White Supremacy" I mean I do understand the system of white supremacy its causes and effects. But acting like 99% of black people would be completely peaceful under any other kind of system is just nonsense. I've seen it repeatedly on this site. Dude kills 3 dudes over Jordans, and the first thing nikkas say "White supremacy" when even the dumbest motherfukkers in the world would agree it's dumb to throw your life away over some sneakers.

Be on the same day, too, possibly minutes apart sometimes. I saw in another thread someone claim that no one ever complains about white business as much as they do
black business, pretending like Yelp, BBB, and other places don't exist debunking that bullshyt.

Same thing went down at a local town hall meeting I attended, Black folks up there claiming "this doesn't happen in The Heights" and we had a brother who worked for the Recycling center stop that narrative right on the spot, he said "Y'all let people come into the community and dump tires and whatever else in the community and you KNOW who's doing it and y'all don't call us or say anything, if a single tire is left abandoned in The Heights, we will be flooded with calls until the tire is removed, that's the difference".

i remember back in the day there was a black womans forum at some university

and JEAN GRAE was on the panel - shyt got heated and she said "what will white people think when they see us behave like that!"

i thought somebody would call her on that shyt and nobody did - in the context of the discussion it just came out like a freaudian slip

With these type of topics, I'm personally not up for discussing bettering ourselves on a open message board like this. Too many lurkers and shyt that will come up in here, take some shyt that was said, and twist it into some sensational blog post titles.

"Even blacks agree they are too violent" or some shyt like that. So I can understand using that when on a internet forum. For real discussion about how to better our people, that needs to be done face to face with some kind of hall meeting or something. And even then you got to be careful, they took that disagreement between lyfe jennings and david banner and had a field day with it.
