Why does Trent Dilfer have a mic ?

still trying to figure this out the past few years. He was a mediocre QB, he cuts off superior players with better knowledge like Steve Young and Ray Lewis all the time. He talks like his opinions are facts

but ive never thought he was a good analyst actually he pretty much has the opposite opinion of how I view the sport on almost every subject, play, penalty, thoughts of players/teams

I find him very insightful, may not have been the best pro QB, but he knows his stuff when it comes to the position, and does a good job conveying his knowledge.

He have no bias and he don't let race be a factor in his opinion.
