Why doesn't WWE just make Reigns or Cena the corporate champ?

At this point in his career, that wouldn't do anything for Cena. Turning him heel was a hot topic before 2016 but now that he's basically part-timing and become one of the top workers in the company it doesn't really matter anymore, especially when he's the old guard and its the new guard that should be getting these opportunities
But yeah, the question is and has been for almost 2 years now why Reigns is still face and they don't go The Rock route with him. Vince and co are deadset on keeping him face so your guess is as good as everybody's

And they're right, Roman can definitely work as a face, and the money in him is as a face. I guess since Reigns isn't a 100% flop as a main event face and rather only like 60 or 55% of a flop, they don't have much justification to turn him heel except to dead the boo's
He's not drawing and he's a laughing stock when shyt gets reals. Boos or not, that's not a money player.

To be fair, with fans being as fickle as they are, if you turn Roman heel they'll start to love him.
The reality is fans don't hate Roman Reigns, just like they don't hate John Cena. What fans hate is when guys are booked as Hogan-Esque type characters. The unstoppable babyface that overcomes all the odds just doesn't work anymore.
The ONLY reason that shyt worked with Austin was because Austin's character was a straight up a$$hole, so he never came across as disingenuous like Reigns and Cena. WIth Cena his best promos are when he's not doing the "Never give up bit" it's when he's being a bit of an a$$hole to his opponent.

Saw a article and they said cuz with reigns anytime he is in a match or main event the love hate he gets gets the most social media out of anyone and they feel if they turn him heel it will die down
There thing is regardless of crowd response boo or cheer he gets the most talked bout in twitter massively
That rumble reaction went viral was an example it got more hits than cena v Aj match cuz he came in at 30 and fans were sure he was gonna win
It's that reaction they feel is why he is top dog and won't turn for now
