Why don't Joe Manchin and Sinema just run as Republicans?

Only reason not to is that they can't win or that they actually believe in the Democratic party

I don't believe Sinema is going to win again tho

The problem with the democrat party is that you don't even need to be liberal to be a part of it. This "big tent party" shyt just makes it so that we have no organization. Republicans would've BEEN ended the filibuster if they had 50 seats.

Manchin and Sinena represent the moderate cancer of the party.

They could have did it in 2017 and 2018. They didn't though. Only ended filibuster for SCOTUS nominees.

The only thing Republicans actually want to do is pack the courts with far-right lunatics and pass tax cuts for the rich, and they can do both of those with a simple majority.

Their platform is so unpopular amongst anybody but their base that the filibuster actually protects them trying to pass some bullshyt and it backfiring on them.

I’m trying to think what else Republicans would want to pass it you removed the filibuster. I can’t think of anything they really want policy wise besides tax cuts, deregulation and judges.
