Jealousy. If I'm out here doing my thing and winning, and I didn't do shyt to you, why would you come at me like that? People always want you to do well, but never better than them. Only exceptions are those who are happy and content with what they have.
Folks also hate other people being happy too, on some "fukk is he smiling for? fukk that nikka." Negativity is much easier to feel than happiness. People never want to give you credit unless you're hyped up, and if you fail? That's when everyone got a motherfukkin opinion of you. You got folks coming out the woodwork just to say how badly you fukked up. Let it be you winning though, and you could hear a pin drop. Not a peep nor sound is made. That's how people are.

Even in supposed happy events like going to the club, is corrupted by crab ass nikkas in the last 15 years. In my parents generation, nobody was mean mugging in the 70s when Disco and old school R&B was popping.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever experienced nikkas not wanting to see me shine. Or if I did, I didn't give two fukks about the person to care enough about their opinion.
Personally whenever I see nikkas doing fly shyt I salute them. I remember I had just moved to Atlanta and went to club Opera. I was leaving the spot getting ready to go in my car and I seen A Ferrari, Bentley, Aston Martin, and Maserati back to back leaving out the parking lot across the street where I was standing. They all had the top down and they were all black men. All I could do was hit em with the symbolic head nod and keep it movin

It's also possible he's so busy doing him that all the hate and nonsense doesn't even show up on his radar. Which is the right way to do it. You don't be an Iggy Azalea and do damage control for every little thing. You only do that if it's absolutely necessary.
Actions speak louder than words. People trying to shyt on another says more about themselves than the person they're trying to slander. That's why gossipy people always got the most negative things to say.
The gossipy people are the ones that have the least. If you buy a person's opinion, you inherent what they got. I don't wanna be broke.
