Because other groups know how to stay on code. The word isn’t as cool as we think it is. A lot of them literally think we’re calling ourselves the n-word, the real one. The others play dumb like they don’t know the difference.

I just mean they didn’t think it was a good idea to “turn around” their own slurs, and think it makes them powerful. Plus, how many non white authority figures are calling them slurs? You’d never hear the end of it if a black officer was assaulting a white person, and calling them a slur.
