First off, nobody will know you, so if you get rejected, it aint on ig or fb or whatever.

Second, its also good practice for when you actually are on vacation in a new area and want that easy hookup

i get what you saying though….but think about it you can't always be batting at home and if your away batting avg is bad then you will always be stuck with dealing with whats around you and scared to venture out i like to get away from my hood and still know I'm good

To a certain extent, this is true. you have to get away from stagnant fukkery and one dimensional people before you can use your potential to get what you want. You got to travel often, like 4-7 times per year if you want it to sharpen up.

Perhaps if I couldn't read because it's too noisey in PA, I could go to NY to read, and in return this would help me practice my reading.

OP has a point. It can work for some. Im an example. I used to come to Atlanta often (before i actually moved here) and i would feel like a totally different person. Change of scenery helped me immensely. When i made the move i was approaching women left and right. And having that "im new to town" is a great convo starter
