I've been on track on here when it comes to theorizing the next artist to blow up as i guessed with SZA and Cardi.
After Drake is done on his last legs and goes to Canada to focus on the film/tv industry, I think Dreezy will be the biggest rapper in hip hop.
And yes i'm including males and females.
Those of you bringing up the dark skinned thing..ehh....i would say its more so because of the label she is on.
Interscope is a wack label. Its best to be marketed by Black controlled labels like Roc Nation or TDE. That is why those artists flourish or if they flop at least the label attempted to put heavy marketing into them.
Eminem/Paul Rosenberg are like the Tom Brady and Bill Bellichick at the label. They consume most of the promotion and if others are involved they are discarded. Its a graveyard. If Dreezy is a friend of yours...honestly i hope yall are in her ear about leaving Interscope. Or since its reckless to just up and leave without a plan....put it in her ear to reach out to Black Labels who have Black artists interest at heart like Jay in Roc Nation.
SZA would not have had as big year as she did last year if not for TDE. Cardi was an exception but i saw it from last year and it was the reality tv star/trump effect.
Dreezy has the ball. She just needs a better label.
