Quite frankly they have sped the game up to a point where it's not ejoyable to watch anymore

*Do you know what the problem is with Ice Hockey? The game moves to fast for you to even process what going on. The NFL is quite the opposite thus why its the most popular league in sports... You're able to digest and dissect everything that going on.. Do you know that out of 4 qts of football that there is only 11 minutes of actual game action that takes place... But the drama of what's going to happen in between those plays is what drives the league.

Back in the day I can remember Patrick Ewing receiving an entry pass on the block with 17 seconds on the clock.. And him working to to get inches and inches to the basketball to get a better shot and the drama that ensued around the shot clock possession was what was compelling: "He he going to pass it? :krs: Shoot a fade away?:krs: Is he going to drive across the lane?:krs: What's about to happen in the next 17seconds??

Now GS just runs down the court making a couple routine chest passes, jacks up a three and jogs back down to the other end before you really even know what just happened... or really get to enjoy the energy/drama of the full possession.. The league has changed the rules to where its basically its being played at a hockey style rate of speed

In basketball it's far too easy to shoot a three pointer for it to be worth so much more in value...

(5 men have to run approx 85 ft to get two points. GS is making to where 5 man run 80 feet and get a 3 pointer 35% percent of the time.. A team that not that great at shooting threes is now going to have to run an extra 120ft approximate 10 MORE times a game, Or some how create an extra 15 possessions a game just to equalize the damage done from 3 pointers being shot at 40% over the course of 48 minutes.. (this is a lot of energy being used)

When you really look at it 33% more points for a shot that becoming easier and easier to make is too much
The game is basically 3 point shooting contest out there to the point that it's no longer fun to watch. Real talk:mjcry:

The league needs to bring back hand checking and stop calling every ticky tack foul when someone drives to the rims for a lay up ..Or just make 2 pointers worth 2.5 points so that the game is more balanced :blessed:

Your statement about football is wrong simply based on the fact that you can't even see the entire field during a play. You don't know how a receiver got open until you see the replay. You can't even tell why a hole was opened up in the line for a huge gain or why the qb was sacked. There is simply too much going on in football at once and you can't capture everything in one viewing.

At least in basketball you always know where the ball is, at least once a game in the NFL the tv crew loses track of the ball and you miss a whole play.

Except the NBA hasn't had ratings this good since Jordan was in the league. :what:

Warriors are one of the best things to happen to the NBA. :pachaha:

Mayweather sold more tickets in the history of boxing but did his fights every live up to the hype.. Or were they ever as exciting as Tyson..

These rating are artificially driven by fake drama mostly caused by ESPN talking heads.. not great basketball
