Why GS Brand of Basketball is Bad for the NBA

OKC defended the Warriors fairly well. But they are a well coached team and the Cavs arent. Rotation defense is overall bad in the NBA and the Warriors expose that(as do the Spurs). JR Smith for example obviously doesnt study and is a total liability against teams who move the ball.

That obviously helped, but they were pretty sound on their rotations/switches. GS wasnt getting their easy buckets they routinely get. They clearly were prepped to play the Warriors. I think it's evident the Cavs dont have the types of players who care/understand proper help D. Irving and Smith are pathetic at it. Lebron's never been a great help defender either tbh.

This years is the whole "this team broke the NBA season record of 73 wins.. Will they complete it with a Championship .. The Cavs are healthy this year unlike last.. Will they be able to stop them



Last Year Steph broke the record for 3 pointers and it was "Can a jump shooting team win and NBA championship (which historically has not been the case )

Next year its going to be " Can they 3 peat like the Bulls of the 90s .

It's just a mismatch honestly. Cavs have gotten by the weak east on talent alone...Lue isnt a real coach, half the team doesnt know how to play defense...Lebron's left to do everything because he underestimated how important structure is in an organization.

Look at GS man- they are built around guys who played a ton of college ball, understand defense and allow themselves to be coached. Them and the Spurs success isnt an accident.

If that's all they do then why haven't a harder working team stopped it? Memphis played the opposite way against us in last year's playoffs. You can win 73 games in a season playing like that?

Who said they weren't? Cavs are lost defensively because of coaching and poor personnel decisions by Lebron.
