Ran "By All Means Necessary" back today for the first time in many years, album still fresh as hell. Beats still bang, rhymes and flows still nice, content still relevant to this day. Don't get nearly as much love as they should. Granted the only 80s legends that really get the respect they deserve are LL, Run-DMC, NWA and Slick Rick. Maybe Too Short. But all the 80s BDP albums still go hard to this day, don't know why they don't get more love.

I think you answered your own question, OP. The 80s is underrated in general, mostly because of what came after it. And a lot of rappers from that decade aren't active now. KRS needs a Force-level project to remind people who he is.
