actually in classical music history you'll find that most new world composers werent accepted regardless so idk if it woulda mattered

i like the beatles, and i dont think its their fault theyre so overrated. i blame the dumbass critics who dont know any better.

the beatles wore their influences on their sleeves and publicly praised all the black musicians they listened to/ripped off.. especially little richard. i think people getting mad at the beatles are getting wrong at the mad people. i'd put that blame at the feet of rags like rolling stone.



i actually didnt care for them until i was deep into my twenties. they grew on me. i didnt even realize KRS was quoting 'hey jude' at the beginning of 'criminal minded'
