Why hasn’t anyone looked at MJ to help Melo?

I found it funny that the first person people looked at to bail Melo out was Lebron when...

1.) Melo is a Jordan Brand Athlete. They have a relationship.

2.) MJ is an Owner with the power to mitigate whatever “blackballing” is going on

3.) What do the Hornets have to lose? They ain’t necessarily moving the needle in any direction right now

Yeah, I don’t know for sure...but I don’t think it’s a case of Melo just being down and out financially and needing any nba paycheck that he can get...he seems to be at that vet ringchasing stage of his career...figure he’s likely to just retire if his only shot is a bit role off the bench for some rebuilding squad

You make a good point. I don’t agree with Royce White blackball shyt. I think people just look at his Thunder and Rockets years, you see Melo not a good 3 spot-up shooter and can’t play defense, can’t facilitate. All he likes to do is a couple hesitation dribble to the midrange pull up jumper and post up, hit you with a couple jab-steps then do the turn around fade-away jumper and he’s a good rebounder. Everybody who play the Rockets and Thunder always run their offense through whatever guy Melo was guarding. The game passed him by. Melo sitting on the Lakers bench not helping them win a championship
