with the exception of some things from AA culture and stolen ancient relics from africa.
There is for sure an plethora of wealthy/rich africans, aa's, hispanics(black/native/spainard), afro asiatics etc., so what's the deal? Maybe I'm sleeping, tell me if I am.
I was watching this food show and they were in peru at an fancy resturaunt with a head chef that was clearly blackish(dark brown lady) and she was explaining how she learned to cook from her even blacker looking grandmom I think it was. Then the shows host went into further detail, explaining how these same women are descendants of the moorish maids of the conquistadors and the foundation of the recepies they use now are based on the meals the maids used to cook.
So I was thinking how it's fukked up imo how these sort of places are world reknown for their food being spanish. You might be like, "well no that's how you see it since you've never been", but I just am in doubt with decent reasoning I think.
When people, especially white obviously, mention indigenous african cooking and things of the sort, it's pretty much automatically assumed to be inedible, "bush meat". Meanwhile, some intended to be rotted, canned fish eggs from old fish are selling around 400$ a tin plus shipping out of prussia. Rock dwelling, low tide barnacles off of the iberian coast are considered a delicacy and per usual, sell for a hefty price, but chitlins are considered low tier slave food. Cocoa bean chocolate manufactured by hand in south america is considered to be lower class than dutch manufactured chocolate, and so on.
This isn't an how do we appeal to whites for their acceptance post btw. Jw
