Why haven't you added a jump rope to your workout routine?

Hopefully the coli is holding it down with their workouts in this quarantine.

As the board is well aware, finding exercise equipment since Covid has been difficult.
I was fortunate enough to find a good spin bike for my wife and I. But about 6 weeks ago I added a jump rope to the routine to switch things up a bit. Weights are a no-go right now so there's just the occasional calisthenics

Brehs, skipping rope is a game changer. It seems so easy in theory but this shyt be having my heart pumping.
Half hour...45 minutes...
:whew:

What have you been doing so far without the gym?
:lupe:

That shyt dumb hard when you get older. For me it was. I was basically skipping with the rope got tired and almost tripped I was in the garage so nobody saw that embarrassing shyt. I think the rope was the issue cuz I'm not even a big dude. I prefer to lift or just run in place lol. I want an exercise bike but I don't have the balls to assemble it lol

I was doing it every day for like 8 days, then I think I pulled a ligament or something. I dunno. It was weird. I had to lay off for a few days until the discomfort went away. So now I do it like 3 days a week...alternating with other things. The pressure on my joints and stuff can be a lot if I don't rest.

Not sure how old you are (you don't have to tell us) but a lot of us are no spring chickens anymore

I added to my comment. I think I used that rope one time lol. I got it from some fitness or exercise website. I was hyped when I got it then I realized can't turn a rope and jump at the same time. Like you said, nikkas not spring chickens forever. Mowed the lawn last week my ankles felt like they died :russ:
