Just off the fact at the time it would take to build the tunnel.

Even with modern technology like bulldozers and rakes and shyt that still takes months, just to do simple shyt.

Not only was the underground railroad posed to be hundreds of miles, but as slaves AND a female she literally had to just use her hands



See this grown man made a tunnel with his hands and it literally took him one yaer just to do that, thats not even 20 feet.

I didn't believe it either but a guy in Canada built a pretty long sophisticated underground tunnel without anybody ever knowing and did it with rudimentary tools. It is technically possible to build an underground tunnel, just very hard and it would take a long time. Tubman was a special woman however so it's not outside the realm of possibility she really did build the underground railroad. Maybe she didn't build ALL of it and adapted or took advantage of routes which were already available, but it's possible she did build or conceive or fashion a tunnel or pathway of some kind out of slave surroundings. Prisoners build underground tunnels to escape from prison all the time. Smart people have built more sophisticated things than tunnels with only basic tools.
