If yall nikkas were wondering who the black lady was in the beginning of the video......(its not drake's mom, his mom is an old crusty cac)
Influence and Legacy

Mac Dre has become a central figure in the bay area hip hop scene, with many rappers and artists remembering Dre for his excessive drug use, originality, and overall flashy style. Mac Dre has also been credited with creating the "Hyphy movement" by Bay Area hip hop legends such as E-40 who went to the extent to pay respect to Mac Dre in the 2006 music video for Tell Me When to Go and on the intro to the remix of the same song says, "RIP Mac Dre, Dre you supposed to be on this one baby."

Mac Dre's image was also used by the rapper Drake for his Oakland-inspired single The Motto in 2012. Mac Dre's mother, Wanda Salvatto, makes an appearance in the music video paying respect to her fallen son, and thanking fans for continuing his legacy. In the song Drake also raps, "RIP Mac Dre, I'mma do it for 'The Bay' [sic]" referencing Mac Dre's love for his hometown, and implying that he will continue the legacy of representing for The Bay. Also on the song, "Over My Dead Body," Drake raps, "My city likes me like Mac Dre loves the Bay."

Because he raps with a slight southern accent but he is from Canada, that shyt makes me sick to my stomach, I can tell that he practices his "black" voice, :gag:. nikka represents perfectly the "lame with money" person that Fabolous was talking about during his Ray J beef

His hood side? He from forest hill.

"Forest Hill is an affluent neighbourhood in central Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Along with Lawrence Park, Rosedale, and The Bridle Path, it is one of Toronto’s wealthiest neighbourhoods. In further depth, census data from Statistics Canada states an average income for all private households in Forest Hill to be $101,631, compared to the $40,704 average income in Toronto's Census Metropolitan Area."
