It catches on in England because that is there history. Look at the popular shows in America GOT is the only time a midevil fantasy show had been popular in america.

The Last Kingdom is crack idgaf what they say. Vikings is fire too but yes they are both very grimy dirty shows aesthetically cuz thats what Europe was on back then.
Why is she assuming that GoT takes place in the dark ages? I would assume it takes place after that.
