The suburbs
Cacs stay making dumbass apps like pin the tail of a puppy or some shyt and be making like $8,000,000 off of it.

Brothas and sistas make actual good useful apps and websites and maybe clearly like $80,000

Same with the online stores and shyt. Damn near every powerseller is a cac, even though a lot of them cacs be selling knock offs :mjpls:
Literally every internet niche is ran by white ppl

I feel ya breh, shyt's sad actually.
On many different levels too.
White people own the platforms and black people provide the content for free while simultaneously being customers.
Black twitter, IG fads, and most of the funny shyt on the internet are just a few examples.
We power the apps but don't see any $$ for the most part

Stop. Memes are not drivers of commerce...

Women are.

We generally choose these platforms to promote entertainment instead of products/services....

So while talentless cacs are coding and pitching VCs ...we are creating dances, vines and memes

but there a lot of brothers earning 7-8 figures as affiliates and even more behind the scenes
in tech companies....

also we don't see $$$ because the cost of storing all that data 24/7 adds up

Again, I'm talking about owning the platforms vs creating the content ie memes vines etc that make all the $$ for the platforms thru advertising, clicks, views etc.
TBH I believe the online/tech business boom is a huge plus for black people. I was reading an article saying a disproportionate # of uber drivers, small online resellers etc. are minorities. It kinda levels the playing field and the barriers for entry and initial investment is way lower. But at the end of the day we're talking about the owners of uber or twitter vs the drivers and users.

lack of connections and capital via connections would be my answer :manny:

But tbh, maybe its just me, but outside of a few HBCU's and GA tech, Black people aren't really into Computer science and engineering. :ld:

Not only that but How many black kids 18 and under do you see programming on their spare time?? In comparison to whites and asian kids who code??? and Im talking about having a genuine interest in coding without any thoughts of future monetary gains??

Because in general it takes a lot more than simply having a great idea or app to be successful. It takes big money and great connections. And VCs are racist so they will not invest money to a young black person no matter how good the idea is. They will invest their money to steal your idea first.

Too many people underestimate the amount of capital required to really push a product or app to the mainstream. You see it on this site all the time.. people just casually throw out everyone should just start a business like its so simple to operate a business you can actually make a living off without adequate start up funds.

We are a minority in this country and our birthrate is below replacement level....
our dominance of sports/music is through natural talent and pushing
youth towards that to ascend incomes NOT stem subjects

The other issue might be self esteem and going against societal headwinds.
I know it's anecdotal but just look at the locker room for example ....

How many dudes can fight the urge to chase bad b!tches and getting
called lame by n!ggas because they putting in 80-100 hours a week in
a startup that has yet to generate a red cent ?

Its worse when you have a gf because she'll suck all your drive and
attention to focus on her instead of your company.

People are shortsighted and want the end result and you need
the mental fortitude to focus 100% on your vision.

Read up on most these billionaires...they have relentless kobe-like work ethic.

Luckily we dont have to create those platforms and lose wives, children through divorce.
You can still leverage social media, paid traffic to generate millions selling products/services.
