But probably because the only reason why a man is leaving his fat wife (more than likely after she had kids and is old) is for sexual reasons while a man without a job can't take care of his family.

Why is that solely his responsibility? I thought women wanted to be equals this day and age? They claim they want to be treated as men, yet still try to live selectively by archaic gender roles that benefit them

I don't think either is a good reason to leave.

But if leaving b/c your husband is jobless at the moment is fine, then leaving b/c you aren't attracted to your paretner anymore should be fine as well. Women would probably be the only people to say you're wrong for leaving b/c of looks, while males would probably say she's wrong for leaving during tuff times, "for richer or poorer".

After you leave her and she drops the weight, don't try coming back around, and she shouldn't try coming back around after you've found a new and even higher paying job.

I've never heard of a woman leaving her husband because he lost his job and i don't think its socially ok in western society.. the majority of people work through it. you can find another job. divorcing is harder than finding new employment. if that is happening, there are other things going on that you aren't privy to.

I honestly do not think women just leave men because they lost their job. How a man mentally responds to his job loss is usually what dictates a woman leaving them.
