Why is it that in every Zelda they give you the same weapons?

To answer the OP. I guess they are limited by the medieval time setting they generally give the series. I guess since there is magic there could be more spells and what not but for the most part, any game in that time frame is going to mainly feature swords, daggers, shields, bow and arrows, and hooks. :yeshrug:

shyt metroid follows the same formula too, grappling hook, rockets, power rockets, bombs, power bombs, different guns plasma, freeze, spazer...

i guess if it aint broke dont fix it

If I remember correctly I think 'Link to the Past' had a wide variety of weapons.

Most recently, A Link Between Worlds flipped the script and gave you access to everything right away and was open ended for which dungeons you do. I think the new Zelda is supposed to be similar

What you expect? Nintendo been releasing ports for 25 years and getting away with it. And you expect them to add new weapons in the game? How dare you.

You can come up with a million reasons why Zelda is that fukkery but millions of people still buy the game :manny:

Why would they waste time changing something that just works?
