low key it would be a bad look to have a bunch of millionaires demanding reparations.
Back in the day rich celebrities supported our civil rights movements by helping fund them and stfu. while the activists, (common working people like Pastors, Secretaries etc) were the most outspoken.

Imagine how corny and entitled it would have seemed if Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus if she could easily have afforded a private limo instead.

We don't need Jay-z asking cacs for money. That would completely invalidate the movement.

Alot of modern civil rights activists on twitter have no strategy, and have no idea how to win hearts and minds to get things accomplished

Reparations shouldn't be viewed as handouts nor should reparations be turned into "butter biscuits". Tone and Yevette already have the attention of enough celebrities and actual politicians so them making these attention seeking posts comes off as them trying to stir up fukkery like Trump jr.

Wasn't Tone mad about that photo of John Legend with Sheila Jackson Lee before the HR 40 hearing? :dwillhuh: What was the reaction to Danny Glover being there again??? :heh: Didn't the beef with Talib start cuz he said he's FOR reparations but wants a plan? :dead:

Mad when black celebs advocate for reparations
:hula:
Mad when they don't
:hula:
Mad when they do, but don't do it "right"

It's always something.
