Why Is Jokic Rated Much Higher Than Giannis?

These two are supposedly the 2 best players in the league yet Jokic is considered heads and shoulders better. I don't get it.
They both have 1 championship at the moment, both have multiple Mvps, Giannis I believe has a defensive player of the year award. But yet he's not praised like Jokic. What am I missing? Jokic has one more mvp is that the difference maker? Giannis controls both ends of the floor not just one. Wtf?

and then didn't give Jokic the award because of voter fatigue and a thirsty need to cement Embiid's legacy.

Part of why Giannis doesn't get that is

1. Defense is a dirty word and nobody really wants to celebrate it
2. Giannis is doing what nobody in the media wants: stay in Milwaukee on teams that have no chance of winning it all. If Giannis was a Spur or Knick he'd be the odds on favorite to win MVP.

Jokic has won a Championship, made the WCF twice and has been a Top 2 MVP candidate each year during that timespan.

As if Jokic's race is the reason why he's historically good on offense. Most people had AD and Embiid over him until he got a ring.
