Why is Lil Baby’s arena tour flopping? Is it too soon for him?

Shultz already addressed it. You only talking to 12% of the population when you are doing street hip hop.

These white folks don't even know who Lil Baby or Lil Durk is.

The reason why Drake can fill out because he talks to everyone.

Lil Baby is exactly like Olivia Rodrigo. You ask two sets of people if you heard their music and one party is going to look at the other like they are crazy. You live two differently completely different lives that never overlap.

He did like 200k first week that’s not arena tour numbers. Most artists selling out arenas. Doing minimum 300k especially rappers. This was a horrible management move. Should have stuck to amphitheater’s and called it a day

it's not pre year 2000 anymore like none of this is actually true

street acts have a hard time pulling a diverse audience to shows but that doesn't mean their listening base is mostly or all brehs not even remotely true anymore.

Lil Durk/Lil Baby as entertainers have not taken the country by storm as of yet. That is certainly not to say they aren’t doing well but it’s simply a difference

He needs to establish tour credibility first at a smaller venue level. He’s a star not a spectacle. You have to build up that word of mouth that his show is something you have to experience.

And he needs an album like Astroworld that crosses over and is also critically acclaimed.
Basically COVID robbed him of a critical part of his rise.
