Why is my Sprints 3g speed faster than 4G Lte?

Sprint is absolutely pathetic, I have had T-Mobile AND sprint for the past year and its night and day. Sprint is ASS...they only get people with their cheap plans and good offers when you sign a contract.
I just reupped with Sprint today. I would have chosen Verizon or ATT but they literally do not work at all inside my townhouse. My work phone is Verizon and i cant talk to anyone in here, period.
Where do you live and work that this rarity occurs?
Only reason I kept em was cause I'm on that SERO plan and was eating off free tethering with my Evo. But with the note 3, if u root, it trips some Knox thing that voids my insurance so I haven't been tethering anyway. I hear the other carriers are good with catching that shyt.
Exception to the Rule. I have both a Sprint and T-Mobile the only thing they have in common is that I get a really weak signal deep in these NYC buildings.
Like Schools and my at my Job I hear it's the high frequencies they use. But over all I get better speeds and signal with T-Mobile.

tho. but if u on the LTE, u these days. since both my work phone and cell phone are sprint, I routinely use my personal phone to make conference calls since it's typically closer to me and I have unlimited everything. I NEVER have issues to calls dropping from either of my sprint phones. however, I do 99% of my phone calls from my house, so maybe I am in a good coverage area.

I live in a pocket in an Atlanta suburb that doesnt get great coverage from any provider. Its one of the few spots that even T-Mobile shows as very light pink on their coverage map. Verizon and ATT flat out dont work inside these townhouses, at least with Sprint i can talk. Once i leave this neighborhood my Verizon phone smokes my Sprint phone but what good is a phone if you cant use it in the one place you need to the most?

MetroPCS is definitely better than Sprint because it runs on T-Mobile's network
