Why is NBATV so ass compared to the other league networks?

it's merely remnants of CNNSI (I miss the shyt outta this channel but oh well). They've never actually (they as in the NBA itself) pumped resources into making that channel awesome even though it's been around longer than all of them. All of these other leagues prioritize their own networks (except for MAYBE NHL Network and even then they get major backing from NBCSN). As long as you watch Inside the NBA and games on ESPN they don't give a damn Besides, all of these other channels learned from NBATV's mistakes. NBATV should revamp and relaunch but the NBA doesn't give a shyt about fixing that channel.

Is NBATV still not run by TimeWarner? Not owned, but the NBA contracts out TimeWarner(Turner) to run the channel. Similar to the NBA website.

NBATV is fine. I like NBA gametime, and I like that they rotate the host regularly and even include the TNT guys as well. sometimes, you get stuck with the C-team on NBATV, but it's part of the game.

I will watch specials about the draft, nba preview, playoff preview and free agency previews tho. that's good programming.

however, outside of the actual games, specialty programming listed above, and NBA gametime, I dont watch much of the programming. Don't watch old games, don't watch inside stuff, and the starters is extremely corny with a bunch of unfunny canadians.

They need to start taking advantage of their archives and make significant documentaries. They need more original programming and have lists like NFL TV where it gets fans and players talking. Like greatest teams, passers, centers, coaches of all time...shyt like that...and Open Court should also have current NBA players critiquing the game and each other.
