Why Is Peter Vescey A Clown

I grew up watching Peter Vescey on the sidelines but I never noticed anything he did that was stupid...but the internet tells me he's not to be trusted but I have no idea why

I bring this up because the other day he reported that Kyrie prefers to play for the Clippers

I hated Vescey in 99 when he put out an article about the Knicks (Dave Checketts and Ernie Grunfeld) wanting to fire Jeff Van Gundy to hire Phil Jackson all because their was a clause in JVG contract that gave him a $1 million bonus if the Knicks made the finals.

Plus he worked for The Post the most newspaper of all time

Peter Vescey was one of the original "Sources" guys, throwing shyt up against the wall hoping it stuck, plus the fact that dude always came across as a scumbag/jerk as well.

After the JVG/Phil Jax article came out the Knicks rallied around JVG and made the finals Dolan blamed Grundfeld and Checketts for the article and having to give Van Gundy a new contract fired Grundfeld forced Checketts out and brought in Scott Layden the Knicks haven't recovered since.

He has a lot of old school knowledge and first hand stories, but his penchant for rubbing people the wrong way, wore out his welcome. He fell out of favor because he created stories and burned bridges with the networks and players. He fathered Chris Broussard "sources" steez.
