Books are also dope in that they are a solo journey. And add a new perspective to your outlook on life.

TV is more of a crowd thing. Show up on the couch at this time with everyone else.

Both allow you to connect with people who have shared a similar experience but I find books are more applicable to the reader in the long run.

Reading is immersive. You delve into a deeper world. It activates your imagination, forces your mind to absorb and soak into a new reality and connect directly to the world the author creates. It's a very in depth mind to mind connection.

TV is something similar but on a grosser, less subtle, physical plane. The way the screen interacts with your eyes and body, the way it interacts with your body, is akin to a drug in some ways.

I feel the same way. I love when you open a new book and you enter a new world. There have been times when I have read books and couldn't let go of the characters, lol. Not on some Fan Fiction ish though :whoa: A good writer knows how to do that to readers. I stopped reading for a while, because life became so busy for me, but now I am back to reading and I am enjoying every moment of it :blessed:
