Why is the Bronx so much more prolific than Harlem?

I would think that Harlem being just north of Central Park would be a nice place for artistry to thrive ….. many great people have come from Harlem but so many more great peoole
have come from the Bronx. Why is this?

Harlem is not a big place and all the legends (Cam, Mase, L, etc) come from the same 10-15 block radius on the west side

Bronx is way bigger, more ethnically diverse and because it’s kind of isolated from the other boroughs, it’s pretty much its own world

Brooklyn > Bronx tho

I think Staten Island is more isolated :skip:

Harlem small its a neighborhood in manhattan and manhattan is the smallest borough off rip.

Compared to The Bronx and when you think about it the bronx aint really been prolific like that until recently.

It was always the talk of how there were no new popping artist from the bronx for a minute since the 80s n 90s.

Until Aboogie and all them lil drill dudes came around. The borough's that produce the most MCs are Queens and Brooklyn.

Which makes sense because those are the two biggest boroughs respectively
