Its just the environment and social conditioning. People fail when they think everything is natural and inherent when environment and conditioning plays a huge role. A lot of NYers (men and women) are rough, loud mouthed, aggressive, and explosive and those qualities are perceived as masculine qualities... so this is why a lot of NY women appear to be masculine....they street and rough around the edges just like a lot of the NY men appear to be.
