I was expecting the "transition from-drug dealer-to-drug user" explanation here. But I don't see anything technically wrong with what he said.

Ultimately, we (the black community) don't own hip-hop. Therefore we can't be the gatekeepers. White and Jewish CEOs hold that bag and therefore the gate. :manny:

whats wrong is he’s justifying the game being so unbalanced. on ODB being disliked by legends because of how different he was. which is understandable. but the genre sounding like shyt now cant be justified because a few acts from the golden era were different.

thats like saying majority of the movies in 10-20 years can be shytty straight to netflix quality cus a few came out around this time and garnered a buzz.

I actually like Rosenberg most of the time (know I'm in the BIG time minority with that one) but he's the same dude who's been yelling "REAL HIP HOP IS OVER HERE!" since he got to the station. He's not the one to make this point

I agree. You can't bytch at Nikki for being pop-trash, then defend music that's clearly ass. 90% of these new artists can't freestyle, drop lame interviews where they try too hard to sound fake-deep, or literally have nothing to say. The whole game is different, and even though Ye is like my top-3 favorite artist- he was the one that allowed this behavior when he was on top.
