Why Is This Site Still Sooooo fukking Slow?

It's actually loading well for me. Still takes about 5-10 seconds per page. But still tolerable. Can't use smileys since I disabled rich text . But it's tolerable.

Tomorrow will make a week since the update notification banner made its first appearance...

Some things have gotten better at least on my end...I can now see Avi's of certain posters, pages loading slightly faster, and some smilies are starting to work.

I can't put up an avi yet because the avi uploader doesn't pop up when you click on it. So there's still a long way to go...I said on Sunday that the update will likely either finish by the middle/end of this week or sometime towards the end of next week.

Yes because it's not finished/ready to publish, how is that not clicking? Once they hit publish all the updates will push through. I'm convinced y'all don't know how updating sites, especially large ones work or y'all are just complainers. Major updates take awhile especially if the admins want it to be thoroughly done. If you want a rush job that'll crash the site etc cool but I'm sure Brook wants to get it right and get his money's worth

why would the site be degrading while it’s being worked on? Why the fukk would you be tinkering with the LIVE VERSION OF THE SITE and not a copy?

If they weren’t already hitting publish nothing would be going through. So how are people claiming things are fixed/back to normal?

All these lanes saying that shyt. Site been for like 2 weeks; even longer for some. Previous updates only took less than a day. It woulda been better to quiet the forum for a day and do all the touch ups instead of the way it is now.
