Waiting on a package. Asked if I can pick the package up the previous day and they wanted to charge $8.00 per item. One of the items is perishable. Now the item probably won’t even arrive today more and likely. It seems UPS is delivering items expected to be late early and items expected early late to create a demand for self pickup and then charging. People would rather pickup if it’s not too far than to wait past due time and end up picking it up anyway. I could have it wrong tho. I know all these places probably short.

FedEx is just as bad as well.

WORSE.

WAY WORSE.

i haven't had issues with UPS, fedex on the other hand

It’s always so interesting to me that so many people feel that way about FedEx (even friends say the same). I ship 5-10 items daily, mostly USPS but anything over a pound I typically ship FedEx and I’ve never had any issues. UPS on the other hand have damaged items in transit multiple times to the point that I go extra with packaging if I know I have to send it through them.

There was an issue with one of the Regional hubs that serve atlanta or something so it even made the news. it really boils down to your regional office, but Fedex doesn't even have stuff like select delivery time or follow delivery on a map
