he didnt destroy jay, maybe because they were friends and never went head-up on wax?

and what rappers did pac destroy? yea, he waxed alot of dudes, but their careers continued on fine. rarely does anyone's career actually get destroyed over a battle anyway. look at what nas did to jay. at the end of the day, jay was still more popular.

but with dmx, i think he wouldve waxed pac and dropped the better album. pac wouldve had to drop a couple notches after that, especially when you consider how the biased media & industry would act as if dmx had just won the civil war and freed the slaves. they would be dikkriding dmx to this day.

pac died.:snoop:

dmx didn't.:dahell:

what is his excuse for not destroying top guys he went at?:lupe:

he never destroyed anyone in a battle in the industry. so you cant just say he would have destroyed pac like it was nothing:shaq2:

also you are saying that careers don't get destroyed then go on later and say dmx would have drop the better album, dissed pac and took over.:russ:

It's hard to determine if DMX or Jay Z would of blew the way they did if Pac and Biggie didn't die. That lane was open for them to blow.

the same could be said about biggie. the lane was open when he blew up.

and people forget that jay was already poppin and was already seen as having next.

2pac being alive wouldnt have stopped the east coast from rockin with dmx. hell, the comparison alone would make the bitter east coast rock with X even harder. not to mention, as i said before, dmx touched fanbases that 2pac didnt. dmx has rock fans and all sorts of stuff.

what is his excuse for not destroying top guys he went at?:lupe:

what top guys are you talking about?:lupe:

pac wouldnt have destroyed anybody breh. nobody gets destroyed in battles. show me an example, aside from jarule. there was a communal effort and culmination of things that took him somewhat out. low-key, he was about done anyway.

i didnt say pac's career would get destroyed. im saying he wouldve lost some momentum due to a culmination of things. not just losing a battle.

so after all it would have been a moot point. just like you said ....jay is still around(and more popular, and better in lot of people eyes) after losing the battle to nas, in your opinion.

and you cant be serious with the bolded stuff. the Vatican pope has came out and says he likes pac music. pac came out with kiss(hard rock band) at mtv awards.

pac is the embodiment of crossing over while "keeping it real".

:ufdup:you kinda sound like a biased dmx/newyork stan the more I continue to talk to you. you are just making up things now.:troll: :duck:

im done.:rudy::snoop:

to b honest
the grand depression still had signs of the old x
the song for his grandmother, sometimes, who we be, we right here, shorty was the bomb, a minute for you son etc are all dope

the problem was after the third album, he took a break from rap to do movies and started getting some big time money
and he started going even more crazy with the coke
and he never really got back his lyricism (he was very underrated lyrically)

same thing happened to prodigy, he took too much drugs and it fukked up his rhymes

in his prime, dmx could fukk with almost anyone
legend in my eyes

Crazy how X was unsigned Hype with Biggie, Common and Mobb Deep but didn't blow till years later. It was like he was destine for Greatness:

This. He fell victim to his own demons and it hurt his image. To the point where people cared more about him getting arrested then any music he came out with.

It's kind of sad really.
and at the same time they ran that Ruff Ryder sound into the ground and by 2001 shyt was played out for the most part. i give them props for being east coast and having a heavy keybaord sound...before them that was considered a no no over there

excessive use of smilies.

i think pac is the goat, and im not from new york. and ive low-key dissed new york multiple times in this exchange. youre reaching for straws breh.

the thing with jay & nas is that jay's music was still more popular than nas'. plus jay had rocafella.

just because pac came out with kiss at the vmas(which didnt happen anyway. must be a different show), it doesnt mean that their fanbase was checking for pac. lol. be smart son. kiss is an old ass band at that. meanwhile, dmx no-showed the vmas 2 years str8 and still got those rock fan sales.

and at the same time they ran that Ruff Ryder sound into the ground and by 2001 shyt was played out for the most part. i give them props for being east coast and having a heavy keybaord sound...before them that was considered a no no over there

lol. yea. they darn sure did.

ruff ryders never even broke up. the artist just branched off. no explanations.

the lox were the only ones that didnt miss a step.
