Why Isnt The Media Running Kobe Out The League Like They Did Iverson?

what is the gist of what you're saying then if it's not about the media choosing who they want to run out of the league? no team other than the lakers would put up with kobe's shyt, no matter how much he isn't hood or if the media loves him. i don't think there was anything for me to miss.

the gist of it is the media coverage. they pushed the narrative that iverson should be a jamal crawford. then not long after, it was "hes a shell of his former self and should come off the bench". then it was suddenly "iverson is finished. he should hang it up".
meanwhile kobe is playing horrible basketball and not only is he in the league, not only is he starting, but hes THE FOCAL POINT OF THE OFFENSE and every bit the team cancer that they tried to paint iverson as. but instead, 95% of the media is celebrating this guy as hes playing the most selfish ball ever.

didn't need to smack any lips. just thought it was appropriate because this circular logic and 360 just kinda fit. if any non-la media is celebrating kobe it's because they are simply celebrating his career, end of. he did win 5 championships after all and the nba more so than other leagues, championships define careers. even for those of us who never liked him, he had a career that is worthy of celebration. i honestly don't know what you're expecting. do you want pitchforks and people trying to run him out of the league when fans of his team love him? kobe is in the last year of his contract and is retiring because he's done and there would be no market for him anyway.
