Sliver's gotta fix this. If he's supposed to be all smart and innovative why is it Mavs/Spurs & Rockets/Lakers on opening night
Nothing wrong with those teams per say but you need a real opening night like how the NFL does it with their opening night on a Thursday Night. A little more grander than a regular Sunday afternoon game. Seriously how do you not have Miami @Cleveland and something like Clipps vs Warriors as the 2nd game. F*ck it I know its extra but run with the storylines and hype sh*t up. "Its LeBron's return to Cleveland going up against the team he just abandoned." and then you know Clipps/Warriors is gonna deliver in a myriad of ways. Add a little glitz to it with a singer or performer thirty minutes before tipoff
TNT crew should be live in Cleveland like its the playoffs. Aint nobody scared of the World Series competitiion.. I'm saying.. this sh*t is so uneventful. First thing your average white casual fan is gonna say tommorow is, "Is this still the preseason?".

No Derrick Rose, No Clipps, no Dubs.. on a lower scale, If you really want to flip the script showcase the "kids" with a TWolves vs Bucks game. Anything is better than doing nothing
