Why isnt Tomlin Respected as an Elite Coach

Tomlin ain't looked at as an elite coach because of all the extra bullshyt.

Team constantly would go for two point conversions after scoring the opening TD

Players showboat ALL THE TIME

Seems to not have control of his locker-room

Team constantly plays down to their oppenents

Too much of a "Player coach"

Last but not least...they call him undisciplined because of everything I listed above.

With this said, damn near everything that is said is somewhat true but even through it all dude continues to win. I personally wouldn't give him up for anyone else and I'm sure outside of NE and Seattle every other team would trade their coach for him.

Not to mention his teams dont be prepared for every games.
How many games did pitt win just this year alone on the final minute? Colts, ravens, beating a good vokings team then losing to the bears with no qb the next week. Almost losing to the brett hundleys.

Games they had no business fooling around in.

Beli is elite. New england prepares for every game.

I knew I wasn't crazy. All the people in here sayin' he's a "rah rah" coach and I'm like, I swore I've read multiple profiles on him being beyond A1 in interviews BECAUSE of his X&O football knowledge . Dude comes super prepared with binders and binders of shyt apparently. He just knows the game. He does make some boneheaded in-game decisions from time to time but coach the game long enough and everybody has their moments.

Yep, people also forget he was the #1 D coordinator prospect before he got the Steelers job.

Every time I hear Bradshaw speak about Tomlin, I get the feeling of Chris Russo too

We need to see him without Ben for a few seasons.

He walked into a SB-ready situation and has had a solid roster to work with for the last decade.

I think that’s why he isn’t considered elite just yet. It’s the same reason most people don’t consider Jon Gruden an elite coach.

ben aint the same elite qb he was years ago. Tomlin doing a great job with some old ass nikkas as his primary players

But being just a bit objective, I think the Steelers mental midget mentality comes up at the most inopportune times usually against the Patriots in the playoffs.
