:gucci: Fake "deep" azz logic. A lot of people don't train martial arts due to lack of motivation or shytty work ethic or both. People aren't scared to start at something if they have a motivation and passion for it.

Or maybe they dont have the time or like me, their body might not be able to handle the type of training required to learn. I straight up got told by a the Tae Kwon Do trainer that my muscles were too stiff and inflexible where I might injure myself while training. :yeshrug: This was when I was trying to do that shyt

Still might try a different training or martial art. But yall forgot that all that shyt requires MONEY.

Some of yall need to understand that martial arts is really about self defense and mastering your energy. Its not about beating people up to act tough or be on some egotistical shyt. Its supposed to discipline you enough where you exercise self control to keep you from doing unnecessary fighting with others. Its supposed to show you how to master your energy and yourself. Insecure people will use martial arts and boxing for the wrong reasons. A part of that shyt is learning when to walk away from a confrontation where you basically learn to avoid shyt or just roast.

Dude. I'm on your brain at 1AM in the morning?

Crack. Ingested while in the womb.

It's the only logical explanation for this kind of behavior.
Why did you say in that other boxing thread you’ve taken loads to the face before? What did you mean by that? :dame:

The Other A
I didnt watch the vid but going by these responses i get the gist of it..

I regularly do a 20 min heavy bag workout in addition to 15 more minutes of some form of cardio... in addition to weights.. thats as far as I go.. 4 to 5 times a week

Ive been invited to a boxing gym down the street from me and I was close to joining but :francis:

My excuses are im too old to be getting black eyes, broke nose and other unnecessary injuries... the schedule, the times dude told me i can come (pause) conflict with my job and other daily shyt.. and lastly like one other dude said ik here im already tired enough from my work, workouts, fukking, etc so fukk allatt

I respect martial arts a lot; but this guy is a chump.

I doubt his credentials are backing up his ego.

Majority of people you know who do martial arts even at black belt level ain’t that impressive

I’ve been practicing 20+ years and haven’t been in a single scrap worth bragging about or acting like it’s life lesson. shyt is a hobby no differrent than MTG or some other shyt

It’s like when militia cacs who practice their guns in the woods and they get people riled up, all the while they have little if any actual experience in a live fire scenario with a moving target.

Martial Art's is GOAT for ADHD management
I’m getting my six year old daughter tested for adhd this month. Going to our first appt today.
:mjcry:
I hope to calm her mind and get her the tools needed to manage. We should have tested her sooner but here we are.
:francis:
She’s on the spectrum as well so that’s what we’ve been trying to deal with now. We have her in swimming lessons now and she’s doing well. I think she can listen to directions pretty well. It’s the noise and distractions that has her unfocused.

I thought about martial arts last summer for her but we were in Japan for the summer. This summer I’ll be home. I think we will enroll her in something. I’m in south Dekalb so I’m hoping for a black instructor.

My three year old will do gymnastics. We are going to have a little tumbler.
