Why must I attempt all side quests?!?!?

I find myself playing games almost too much. If there are side quests that I'm aware of I'm doing them. I'm currently playing Dead Island, put about 24 hours and only done like two of the missions in the jungle so far. Previous to this I played Borderlands 2 and did tons and tons of side quests. While it allows me to get more out of the game sometimes by the time I get near the end of the game it almost feels like a chore to finish it. Anyone else feel this way or have this issue?

Yeah.

I 100%'ed Xenoblade for the Wii.

Took me 209 hours to get all the achievements :snoop:

I usually only do that with games I really like tho. Otherwise it stops being fun

If there is trophies involved and I'm enjoying the game, i'll do them.

Dead Island is a good game, platinum'd that the other week.

So you dont feel like you wasted money on a 6 hour campaign. Sidequests you will have no urge to complete if you beat the game .
