Why no one talks about New Mexico since it's right by Texas/Arizona?

I been all thru NM
ABQ to Santa Fe to Taos, then in the South near El Paso TX - Roswell and Las Cruces

great place to visit with all the scenery, but probably wouldn't move there
Perfect road trip state

No one speaks on it but it's democratic all across the board.

New Mexico has the highest percentage of Hispanic ancestry, at 47 percent. Natives 14% (Oklahoma has more Natives but the percentage is higher)

Whites make up 36%
