lol @ the goalpost of whether it counts is whether or not it was implemented as a confrontational move toward protests

and it was anyway. :laff: these boys juelzing EARLY

Btw when trump went on his "those sons of bytches" tirade is when Adam Silver reminded everyone of the rules

Adam Silver Expects No #TakeAKnee Anthem Protests In NBA :picard: then again NBA been had their players in check, the most protesting they were allowed to get away wit was turning their practice jerseys inside out for donald sterling.

True but Rauf's protest was pretty much a Muslim thing and not a the issue with the treatment of black America if I can recall correctly. No other player really rallied around his Muslim faith demonstration plus Farrakahan hated to see him go through the scrutiny and told him to chill and just say a prayer when the anthem was played.. so the Rauf situation never really escalated to the level of the Kaep situation at all. It probably would in today's climate tho knowing how a big segment of the population hates Muslims. :francis:

That's what I heard.:yeshrug: Remember Rauf originally stayed in the locker room during the anthem and that's when the heat and controversy came down on him.. then he switched it up and joined his team but said a prayer during the national anthem.
