A rat, regardless of it's location, allowed to live and thrive, WILL grow brolic.
First and hopefully only time I'll ever see rats walk past humans like we visitors was after the 2017 hurricanes when houses were structurally compromised, missing roofs and doors'n'shyt.
Saw 6 cat sized rats (I counted 'em) literally do the Contra cannonball jump into the house off one section of the roof where the ply/galvanize got ripped off and just watched me in my living room like "Can we help you nikka?"

Hey I live in the tropics. There's a couple of rats by the bus station, People have cats around me so that keeps mickey away.

But the trash disposal is key.

I'm planning to start a farm so I'll need cleanilness and some rat terriers and a weasel to keep the rats away.

A few of those pics were of Gambian pouched rats, which have been found in NYC only because exotic pet owning douchebags couldn't handle them and either lost and /or got rid of them.

Yes NYC rats are big, but including pics of Gambian rats to oversell this point is type disingenious.

Btw, Gambian pouched rats are REALLY intelligent and they do the Lord's work finding abandoned yet still active land mines in former war zones of many 3rd world countries.
