Why are their names ever in the discussion? They're definitely top 10. easily. their discography speaks for itself. why people never give em credit though? is it because they from the south? :sas1:
or am i tripping and they do get credit?

They are in my Top 10. They did some incredible work with OutKast alone. Not to mention the music they did for Goodie Mob and the rest of the Dungeon Family. I think that's why a lot of people don't have them in their Top 10's. They don't have a lot of work outside of DF. Organized Noize is definitely underrated and overlooked. Their R&B productions are even classic:

I usually see them mentioned outside the top 10. Top 20ish. I don't think they get ignored but maybe they don't get enough attention for some

Because most gateway Kast fans don't know ONP by name and they eventually did fall the duck off once crunk hit.

They made some of te best beats if the mid 90s though.

I don't think they fell off. I think having no production on speakerboxxx/the love below kinda hurt them. They started getting overlooked around that time . They was still making dope shyt though.

I do kinda agree with them not being known. You kinda gotta be a dungeon head to know a lot of they shyt. Luda was like the only non-inhouse dude regularly getting beats.

^^^^^^i've never even heard any of those songs. I just recall how awful the Dungeon Family album was 'Even In Darkness' and then they seemed to be pandering to whatever current sounds were emanating from the A. And we all know those sounds were truly awful.

just played those clips and man that stuff is wack.

Because they're from the south and once you get past that, they are from Atlanta. Those seem to be two things that will never get you props in hip-hop.

Organized Noize are on that Beatnuts, Beatminerz, Diamond D (not really tho ;) level.

BUT, being that THEY ARE southern and had a massive R&B hit/hype machine behind them they actually have some tangible hardware for their efforts. Must be nice not being from New York, huh?
