I do suspect it is because there is no way on Earth that some of these monstrosities they present haven't been checked in all the years they've been living.
There was one on here previously with chicken ala PAWG which used bags of Doritos and other types of madness.
On the flip the vast majority of people these days simply cannot cook so who knows? Maybe a 50/50 split of people being outrageous for clicks and others genuinely handing out family recipes they ate and then cooked without questioning the biz.

If you could fly on the wall to the dynamics and various habits that many families have in their natural environment you'd definitely wonder about the nature of life on this planet. Usually we befriend those who come from a similar vibration as us and this is what makes us click. That or proximity, its not a simple black or white thing.
It really does make you wonder about the malleability of a childs awareness and how they intuitively adapt to get in where they fit in via the repetition of unconscious patterns as they learn by imitation. It often comes up in marriage when brehs look at their wife like "WTF?" when they do something so out there for them but totally normal for her as thats the environment she came up in.

. I was in a spot once and needed a bag to carry some things I was taking and intuitively looked under the sink and found nothing. "Why don't you have a bag with other bags in it under there?" I asked as she replied "Why would I have that?" with a look of confusion.Probably didn't even have a blue biscuit tin filled with sewing equipment either. I didn't stick around to check.
